At Snappy, we run a number of programmes dedicated to building confidence, independence and social skills, but mostly, to give our children and young people the opportunity to enjoy new experiences, have fun and make friends!
We provide a community, rich in resources, that meets the needs of the children and young people who attend here, but we also deliver opportunities for them to explore new activities and gain skills that may not be easily accessed elsewhere. Our wide mix of activities are designed to encourage personal growth and social development.
We encourage inclusion in a gentle and incremental way, inviting other groups to join us at Snappy. Our community environment ensures that our children and young people can enjoy themselves with the same feeling and tone as their mainstream peers.

Our Saturday Scheme provides a place for children and young people, aged 5 – 19, to learn and develop through a range of play activities in a safe and secure environment. We meet up with friends, hang out and also gain valuable experiences and learn key life skills. There are a range of activities as well as special trips out.
Senior Snappy is a youth group for young adults aged 18 – 25, who take part in social nights and a selection of workshops and activities that incorporate life skills.
Snappy Contact is our newest project, delivering life skills and learning workshops to children and young adults aged 11 – 22. These sessions run on Thursday evenings, from 6.30pm – 9.30pm and Saturdays from 10am to 12noon and 1.30pm – 3.30pm.
Our Easter and Summer Schemes run throughout the school holidays (Monday to Friday) for children and young people aged 5 – 19. Each day is filled with different activities and trips out. We also have continuous use of on-site activities such as our sensory room, musical instruments, arts and crafts supplies, the computer room and much more!
